Terms of Use
Terms of Use
These terms apply to Gatebase, a Mac app for SSH and server monitoring distributed through the Apple App Store.
Apple App Store terms
Gatebase is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your download, purchase, and use of the app are also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and the App Store Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a separate license is presented for this app in App Store Connect.
Use of the app
You may use Gatebase to organize server records, open SSH sessions, use jump hosts, transfer files, run saved commands, and inspect server resources that you are authorized to access. You are responsible for the servers, credentials, commands, files, and network destinations that you configure in the app.
Server access and credentials
Only use Gatebase with systems that you own or have permission to manage. Keep your passwords, private keys, backup files, and server records secure. Gatebase cannot recover credentials that you remove from your Mac or from Apple Keychain.
Purchases and refunds
App purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store. Gatebase does not process payments through a separate billing backend for the App Store release.
No warranty
Gatebase is provided as available. The app is a tool for managing connections and server tasks, but it cannot guarantee that any server, network, credential, command, service, or file transfer will always be available, correct, or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gatebase and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, credentials, server access, or system availability arising from your use of the app.
Changes
These terms may be updated as Gatebase changes. The latest version will be available on this page.
